Recital Week
Recital week is the week of April 6th at Kaukauna high school. We will have 3 different showcases this year for our recital week. Intro level dancers have ONE performance. Beginning & Intermediate level dancers have TWO performances. Advanced level dancers have THREE performances.
Showcase A = ALL Intro Level classes, all advanced level classes AND some senior solos
Showcase B = ALL Monday classes (minus Intro level classes) AND some senior solos
Showcase C = ALL Tuesday & Thursday classes (minus Intro level classes) AND some senior solos
New This Year: advanced level classes will only perform on the day their class is AND also Saturday morning. Example: If your dancer is in Advanced ballet on Monday, they will be in showcase A and B
Rehearsals:
April 7 @ 5:00 PM – Showcase B
April 8 @ 5:00 PM – Showcase C
April 10 @ 5:30 PM – Showcase A (minus the advanced classes)
Recitals:
Friday, April 11 @ 6 PM – Showcase B = ~2 hours
Saturday, April 12 @ 10 AM – Showcase A = ~1.5 hours
Saturday, April 12 @ 1:30 PM – Showcase B = ~2 hours
Saturday, April 12 @ 6 PM – Showcase C = ~2 hours
Sunday, April 13 @ 2 PM – Showcase C = ~2 hour
Class & Costume Payments
The cost for each class is listed on the schedule under the class number.
Please Note: We have updated our payment terms for this year – please read thoroughly!
- Upon registering for all classes, you must pay a NON-REFUNDABLE down payment of $25 PER CLASS (this also includes all payment plans). This amount will be deducted from the total class cost.
- If you pay IN FULL at the time of registration, you will receive $25 off PER CLASS.
- Registrations received after August 31 are subject to a $25 late fee.
- Through Sept. 30, if you drop, you will receive a full refund, minus the $25 down payment.
- From Oct 1 – Oct. 31, if you drop, you will receive 50% back of the class total.
- Starting November 1, there will be no refunds for dropped classes.
For any changes made to your child’s classes AFTER you register, there will be a $25 fee. Example: If you switch from a Monday class to a Thursday class, we will charge $25 for this change. If you add a class after your initial registration, we will charge $25 for this change. If there is a change in class level, because the teacher feels a different level would be a better fit for your child, there will NOT be a charge for that change.
Costume Money is due October 3rd. Late payments will be charged a $25 late fee. If payment is not in by Oct. 3, we will not order the costume, and you run the risk of not being able to participate in the recital. Please know recital participation is OPTIONAL.
Payment Plans
If you would prefer to pay for your classes over time, we do have payment plans available. We do ask for a credit card to be on file in the event that you do not pay the full amount by recital week. Please print and fill out this payment plan agreement if you are interested.
Please note: If you cancel your card, and we cannot collect payment, you will not be able to return to our studio for future classes.
Scholarships
If we have scholarships to hand out this year, they will be awarded on July 1st, 2024. Please contact brighterdaysdance@gmail.com if you are in need of a scholarship.
