Please have your child dressed in modest dancewear. There will be no volleyball shorts or low-cut leotards/shirts allowed. Midriffs must remain covered while dancing. All dancers ages 5 & up must have on shorts/skirts that come to their fingertips or longer. If you have questions, please ask an instructor.
The Dress Code listed below is REQUIRED for Intermediate and Advanced classes!
It is the SUGGESTED dress code for Beginner levels.
Ballet
Shoes: Pink leather ballet shoes
Girls ballet attire
Black leotard*, any color skirt, opaque and to fingertips or longer, nude tights
Optional: Dance shrug or dance wrap top
Tap
Shoes: Black tap shoes.
***Intermediate and Advanced levels must have Oxford Style black shoes***
Girls tap attire
Leotard** under a solid colored tunic top (no print), black leggings
Boys tap attire
A-shirt (tank) tucked in, under solid color t-shirt (no print), black jazz pants or all-black athletic pants
Lyrical
Shoes: Split Sole Nude Color Canvas Ballet Shoes (NOT leather)
Girls lyrical attire
Leotard** under solid colored tunic top (no print), black leggings
Boys lyrical attire
A-shirt (tank) tucked in under solid color (no print) t-shirt, black jazz pants or all-black athletic pants
Hip-Hop
Shoes: All black shoes only (soles included)
Girls hip hop attire
Leotard** under a looser, solid color shirt (no print) t-shirt, solid colored pants (jogger, harem or athletic)
Boys hip hop attire
A-shirt (tank) tucked in under solid color (no print) t-shirt, solid colored pants (jogger, harem or athletic.)
Jazz
Shoes: Black jazz shoe (tie or slip-on)
Girls jazz attire
Black leotard* under solid colored tunic top (no print), black jazz pants (yoga pants) OR black leggings.
Boys jazz attire
A-shirt (tank) tucked in under solid color t-shirt (no print), black jazz pants or all-black athletic pants.
Cheer
Shoes: All-white sneaker (soles must also be white.)
***Intermediate & Advanced Level dancers must have split-sole shoes***
Girls cheer attire
Leotard** under solid color t-shirt, solid color athletic (loose fit) shorts to fingertips or longer
* Short-sleeved, long-sleeved, 3/4 sleeve or tank style leotard
** If worn under shirt/tunic, leotard can be any color/style
SHOES ARE MANDATORY for all genres, as listed above.
Adult Fitness
Please do not wear street shoes in the studio.
Music & Movement
