All of our sign language classes have the ASL foundation and build on that and incorporate praise and worship!
Class Progression
- Big & Little Signs for ages birth-3 year old (with an adult)
- Songs and Signs for ages 4-8
- Beginner Signs for ages 9+ (no experience needed)
- Experienced Signs for ages 9+ (must have some experience)
Big & Little Signs (Birth to 3 years accompanied by adult)
Come explore together and experience the benefits of signing in these early years of development! Let’s praise the Lord in the beginning with worship, song and signs as we grow, connect and communicate with our God-given expressive hands!
Songs and Signs (ages 3-8)
For children ages 3-8 years old together with their heart, hands and voices will lift their praise as we worship the Lord with gladness together! Praise songs combined with ASL signs and vocabulary are a tangible way to interact with music becoming like a beautiful dance- a new way to experience & express the meaning of the song!
Sign Language (ages 9-18)
The first half of the class will be learning the fundamentals of American Sign Language and conversational signs. The second half of class will focus on learning how to sign along with a song which will be presented to family and friends at some point before Christmas break and the end of the dance year. No supplies needed. We will offer one for beginner level and one for experienced level.
